Refund policy

How to request help with a purchase, return an item or exercise your cancellation and refund rights.

Last updated: 24 October 2026

Purchases covered

This policy covers purchases made through STRAFDOP: digital game access and physical T-shirts. It works alongside South African consumer law and does not replace any right that the law gives you.

Start with your purchase reference

Use the contact page or the contact details below. Include your account email, payment or order reference, purchase date, the item concerned and whether you want cancellation, a refund, a replacement or help restoring access. Describe any fault or incorrect delivery. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or full card details. A request is reviewed against the payment and order records; the contact form does not automatically issue a refund.

Online cooling-off rights

Where ECTA section 44 applies, you may cancel without a reason or penalty within seven days after receiving goods, or within seven days after concluding a services agreement. Its exceptions include certain services begun with your consent during that period. Any applicable exception must fit the actual purchase; game access is not described here as automatically non-refundable.

Game access, duplicate payments and errors

If you paid but access has not appeared, first sign in with the verified email used for payment and use Restore access. Contact us if it still fails, if you were charged twice, or if the digital service does not work as described. We will check the payment and explain the available remedy and any applicable cancellation right. A bank debit with an unconfirmed payment status needs verification before another payment is attempted.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect shirts

Report a wrong item or delivery damage with your order reference and a description. Where goods fail the CPA’s quality standards within six months after delivery, you may return them without penalty at the supplier’s risk and expense and choose the applicable remedy: repair, replacement or refund. Rights do not depend on accepting store credit. Ordinary wear or damage caused by misuse is assessed separately from a supply defect.

Size choices and change of mind

Check the size guide and chosen cut, size and colour before paying. A fit preference is different from a defective or incorrectly supplied item. Contact us about a size change or change of mind; statutory cancellation and return rights still apply. This policy does not add a separate extended change-of-mind or free size-exchange promise beyond those rights.

Returning physical items

Contact us for the correct return instructions and address before dispatching an item; doing so does not extend or shorten a legal deadline. Pack it safely and keep proof of dispatch. For an applicable ECTA cooling-off cancellation, only the direct return cost may be charged. Defective-goods returns covered by the CPA are at the supplier’s risk and expense. Return instructions must not impose conditions that remove a statutory right.

Refund amounts and timing

Refunds are based on the amounts actually paid and the cancellation or return right involved. An ECTA section 44 refund is due within 30 days of cancellation. Other legal deadlines remain applicable. We will explain the amount, any lawful return cost and the payment route after checking the request. Bank or payment-provider processing can affect when the credit appears; no fixed bank-processing time is promised.

Game access included with a shirt

A qualifying shirt purchase includes one base-game access entitlement for the purchasing account. It is not a separate R29 charge on that order. A refund is calculated from the order’s actual paid amounts; an invented cash value is not deducted for the included game. Any effect on the included access must be explained when the return is handled and must respect your statutory rights.

Your statutory rights and complaints

This policy cannot exclude or limit rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. Contact us to try to resolve a concern. You may also approach the National Consumer Commission or another competent dispute body. Keep your purchase record and correspondence.
